How to Shop for Coachella

Everyone says that the music is the most important part of Coachella – but let’s be real. We all know that the FASHION is what it’s all about.

You have 3 days to show your fellow Coachella-goers what you’re entire style game is made of – no pressure. And I don’t know about you, but I think there’s nothing worse than being underdressed or regretting an outfit choice while surrounded by people making fashion statements that will go down in history.

But don’t worry – I’m here to help. I took over the Forever 21 at the Montclair Place & probably tried on over 30 pieces (sorry to the workers who had to help me lol) & ended up with these 3 tips & this festival ready look:

Tip #1 – Be COMFORTABLE. If you think about it, you will be walking around all day with sore feet, dusty skin, and messy hair. The best thing you can do to keep yourself somewhat sane is to have a comfortable ensemble.

Personally, when I think comfort my mind goes straight for rompers, dresses, and anything non-constricting. That’s why I bought the white drawstring high waisted shorts from Forever 21. When people look at me, they will think I’m wearing a skirt – but plot twist they’re really shorts & I can jump & dance around as much as my heart desires without flashing everyone!

Tip #2 – ACCESSORIZE! Because I picked such a simple, comfy outfit as a base, I left all the room in the world to accessorize from head to toe. Starting from the top I have a camel floppy hat, beaded choker, layered leaf necklace, set of stone rings (my FAV), & an elephant cuff bracelet.

Then, to top it all off, I have my favorite pair of camel colored, knee-high gladiator sandals. Normally, I would say closed-toed shoes are the way to go in case you get stepped on by a 200 pound, but these shoes are so cute, they’re worth the risk (I’ll let you know if my toes survive).

Tip #3 – Go ALL OUT! Coachella is the one place where you could wear what you’ve always wanted but never had the guts to. If you have been eyeing some jumper pants, a fringe vest, retro sunnies, or a necklace as big as your face, but weren’t sure if you could pull it off – I guarantee you will strut whatever it is like a total BABE.

Tag me in your outfit pics – I can’t wait to be inspired! xoxo
