Huge thank you to Party City and InterContinental Hotels and Resorts for sponsoring this post! As always, all opinions and words are my own.
Wedding season – such an amazing time filled with love, laughter and lots and lots of planning. Whether you’re prepping for your engagement party, bridal shower, bachelorette party or the wedding day itself, there’s always something to be done! Thankfully, Party City, Hotel Indigo, and ShopStyle made my planning so much easier.
If you follow me in Instagram or watched my recent YouTube video all about my bridesmaids, you know that last weekend, I got all of my best girl friends together to ask them to be apart of my bridal party. But instead of just asking them with a simple card or present, I wanted to turn the monumental moment into a weekend we’d never forget. So, I planned a stay for us at Hotel Indigo in Downtown Los Angeles. That way, we could have our special moment and then spend the rest of the weekend celebrating! We called it our Bachelorette Extravaganza.
So, if you’re wanting to spend your Bachelorette weekend exploring Downtown LA, I mapped out the entire thing for you. Say goodbye to more planning and hello to the weekend of your dreams! Keep reading for a full itinerary of our trip and links to all the decor that made the weekend so special!
Our room:
Our room was my favorite part! We spent most of the time hanging out in our robes, playing Bachelorette games, and just enjoying our time together.
With a little help from Party City, we transformed the entire space into a Bachelorette party dream! I went with gold/white theme which was easy with the amount of options on Party City’s website. The balloon arch was by-far my favorite decoration – it came with an instruction sheet that was very helpful and it really transformed the room. It looked professionally done but was so, so easy!
I also got ‘bride tribe’ headbands for each of my bridesmaids, along with “I do crew” bags to fill with goodies, matching cups, napkins, a cute ‘YAY’ balloon that made for the perfect photo prop, and of course, a “bride” sash for me to sport all weekend!

About the hotel:
Hotel Indigo is the cutest, trendiest boutique hotel – located right in the heart of Downtown LA by InterContinental Hotels and Resorts. It’s in a perfect location where you can walk to local restaurants, bars, and even some speakeasies! We really wanted to pick somewhere with a central location because, in my opinion, there’s no better way to experience a city than to walk the streets yourself!
It also has a pool deck with fire pits, a penthouse lounge called 18 Social with jaw-dropping views of the city. Down in the lobby, the Metropole Bar is filled with locally brewed drafts, fine wines and craft cocktails. My favorite cocktail was the “FDR martini” and my friends loved the “Pineapple Mule.” No matter what time of day, there were always people at the bar talking, having fun, and enjoying the drinks. You know it’s good when it’s a destination for people who aren’t even staying at the hotel!
Right next to the bar is the Metropole Kitchen where you feel like you’re sitting in an underground tunnel. Not only was the decor such a fun, artistic twist, but the food was amazing. The perfect spot if you want to dine-in!
Schedule for the weekend:
- Friday:
- Saturday:
- Wake up
- Go to brunch at Bottega Louie (only a 10 minute walk from the hotel)

- Lounge by the pool in a cabana (bring fun Bachelorette games to play – my favorites linked here, here and here)

- Come back to the hotel for a drink at Metropole Bar
