Hey babes! So, if you follow me on Instagram, you know that I recently had the honor of throwing my best friends bridal shower! She wanted a mix of blush pink, sparkle, natural greenery with a hint of rustic vibes. We DIY’d a bunch to stay budget-friendly and also supported some amazing small businesses on Etsy in the process.
If you guys are planning a shower or you just want some inspiration, I went ahead and linked everything below!
GRASS WALL
This grass wall is my absolute pride and joy after we DIY’d the whole thing! Yes, you read that right. We made this thing from SCRATCH! And if I can do it, so can you. We just went over to Home Depot, got two 8×4 wood panels and two 1×8 panels for the legs. I ordered some artificial grass from an Etsy Store called MountainSnowArt (I needed two boxes to cover the whole wall). They have a ton of other cool items like laser cut dividers, screens, etc.!
Then, I ordered an artificial floral piece from MerciGarden (also on Etsy). It was a little pricey but the flowers are SUCH amazing quality and I figured I can re-use these flowers over and over again for future showers, birthdays, etc.. The ‘Bride to Be‘ sign is yet another Etsy find – I just got the natural wood for the cheapest option and spray painted it gold! I stapled the grass on, used a nail gun for the legs, and zip ties for the flowers/sign.
I kept the boards separate so it would be lighter to carry, then just pushed them together for the shower. It was the PERFECT photo backdrop! We also put a chair in front of it for her to open up her gifts.
FOOD/DRINKS:
We wanted to make the day a bridal brunch! With a donut wall, donut tower, waffle bar, individual yogurt cups, and an egg frittata, no one went hungry. I got some cute, custom paper goods to take the food up a notch from an Etsy store called Paper and Parties. They had the cutest ‘Bride to Be’ sign for the donut tower (it would also work perfectly for a cake) as well as tiny diamond toothpicks for each of the waffles. The yogurt cups are a ‘covid friendly’ option as everyone can just take their individual cup without touching any utensils.
The donut wall was actually really easy to DIY! Just get a piece of plywood and a wood dowel from Home Depot. Cut the dowels into 3ish inch pieces, screw tiny holes into the plywood, and insert the dowels. I had my sister paint ‘donuts’ on top, threw on a piece of fabric and some eucalyptus I cut from a tree that morning!
Bubbly Bar
What’s a bridal shower without some cocktails?! The bride wanted sangria and mimosas so that’s what she got! I had my sister make a ‘bubbly bar’ sign with some paint and a foam board from Hobby Lobby! I’ll link the stemless champagne flutes, the drink dispenser and the rose gold tablecloth!
TABLE SETTINGS
We love a good table setting – am I right?! I’ll link the white and gold plastic plates here, the gold plastic silverware here, the tan reusable napkins here, the tassel napkin rings here, and the rose gold sparkle tablecloths here!
DIY BRIDAL SHOWER SIGNS
I recruited my sisters help again with these signs! We just got the photo frame glass filler from Hobby Lobby, some acrylic paint and a paint marker and she worked her magic from there! They have different sized for the glass filler so we used her talents for the welcome sign, the gift sign, the favor sign, etc.!
GAMES, RECIPE CARDS & FAVORS
Have you guys noticed I love etsy? I didn’t get a picture of the games but I use the download linked here! I’ll also link the recipe card template I used here.
As far as the favors go, we just ordered these candles from Amazon! You can also get customized ones from Etsy so I’ll link some cute ones here.
CUSTOM DENIM JACKET
The cutest gift for the bride! Whether it’s from the bridal party, the MOH, or just a random guest, this jacket is guaranteed to make the bride feel extra special on her Bridal Shower day. I’ll link the one I got here!
CUTE OUTFITS
Last, but definitely not least, outfits. You and the bride obviously need to look your best on the big day! Heidi’s white jumpsuit was absolutely STUNNING so I’ll go ahead and link that for you all here! She also rocked these pink heels and heart earrings. My jumpsuit went with the rose gold theme and is so comfy/flattering! You can use MADDIE15 for a discount!
Hi! Are the flowers on the welcome sign real or an arrangement from Etsy?
Thank you!
love
Hi. Where is the brown satin jumpsuit from?
