Two Things You Must Do in San Diego

Hey babes! In less than ONE MONTH my beautiful sister is getting married and I’m finally getting the brother I always wanted – WOO! And to celebrate Paige’s final days as a free woman, her friends and I threw her a bachelorette extravaganza in sunny San Diego.

Now, if you like to have fun but aren’t quite into the Vegas scene, San Diego is definitely the place to go. There’s the beach, brunches galore, downtown, the infamous PB and more – your options are practically limitless.

So the next time you’re in San Diego, whether you’re there for a bachelorette party, a birthday, or just to visit, I have two things you MUST DO.

First, Social Cycle! Social Cycle is basically a party on wheels. You and 16 of your closest friends (or complete strangers) hop onto this giant bike that’s shaped like a table and ride through the town. You have a ‘captain’ that steers you through the streets (rarely stopping at stop signs) and drops you off at the best local bars and pubs along the way.

And if you’re worried about the experience being too strenuous, you can always be like me and sit on the seat over the wheel that doesn’t have pedals (you’re welcome). And in my defense, I sat there not knowing there weren’t any pedals – but it did work out in my favor.

Plus, the bars that they take you to are the trendiest spots downtown has to offer. We went to La Puerta, Moonshine Flatts and Quad Ale House. And the best part? Groupon almost always has deals with discounted tickets!

Next, brunch at Miss B’s! Miss B’s Coconut Club is a beachside eatery that’s basically a 30’s dreamland.

From oozing breakfast burritos to orange and teal décor, acai bowls and originally crafted drinks that are served in giant golden swans – this place will make your trendiest brunching dreams come true.

AND if you go on the weekends, you can get BOTTOMLESS mimosas from 1-6 for only $19.95! Plus, it’s located right next to the beach so after you indulge in some bubbly, you can mosey on over to the sand and relax by the water.

So there you have it. The next time you’re in SD, grab your friends, brunch the morning away at Miss B’s and top off the evening by biking to the best bars in the city.
